Case Study

Pain Point

Traffic from LinkedIn to the website's job application page had a high user drop-off, which made CPL (cost per lead) numbers skyrocket.

Diagnosis

Diagnostics showed that the landing page wasn't user-friendly. There was no salary range, no clear CTA, and very little information about the specific job details. This locked out an ICP interested in knowing a salary range, job requirements, and qualifications before committing to editing a CV, writing a cover letter, and updating their LinkedIn profile.

Solution

Redesigned of the job application page to include CTA buttons, salary ranges, and job status (open or closed), and shortening of the requirements and qualifications to bullet points instead of prose, so applicants could scan the essentials at a glance.

Result

The CV submission bottleneck eased almost instantly due to reduced friction and a better user experience.
